How to Use Honeybee Mini Mating Nuc

This is my first go at using a mini mating nuc to hatch a queen cell.

I've been keeping bees for 6 years and have learned tons through trial and error, online resource, and family. I only keep 10-15 hives at a time but i manage them the same as you would in a commercial setting.

best way to gather bees for a mini nuc is to spray the frame with water so they clump together and shake into a bucket, more spray then scope a cup full out for each mini nuc

Couldn’t the mating Nuc produce there own queen with the queens fresh eggs after you took out the queen?

Where did you get your ventilated suit from? I’ve had a heck of a time with the plastic zippers on the suits I’ve tried from local suppliers.
