FYI could also be a corroded battery cable in the wheel well trunk area that powers the Valvetronic motor. check there before you start replacing the valvetronic motor and eccentric sensor etc..

This is in fact a bad valvetronic motor or a bad valve cover gasket change. Whenever you take out the valvetronic motor you don’t force it or you’ll damage t.

How i solved my issue:
I took the cover up a little bit and hit the valvetronic with a hard stick. It was okay after it.
However I will take it to the mechanic for a fix and i guess it’s going to be the valvetronic motor.

Typical BMW problem. Troubleshoot :Sensor and Valvetronic . In German we call it : Exzenterwellensensor. It's inside the engine and there is often Oil inside the Sensor, which you can clean with a Break Cleaner and Kontact Spray.

they should have just put variable length individual throttle bodies on instead of valvetronics.

I have a 2004 bmw 545i 4.4. if the valvetronic motor was removed, put it back on, and if it was not adjusted properly can that cause a random misfire???
