"Once a year, I get to see my friend." - This line punched a hole into my chest, it still hasn't healed yet.

I was blindsided by this movie. Never saw any advertisement or knew it was coming. I went on netflix after work today and it was the first thing that popped up. Something about the animation caught my attention so I decided to give it a chance and oh my god I absolutely loved it! The plot was interesting, the characters were a joy and most importantly the message made me feel all warm inside. I truly recommend this if you're looking for a good christmas movie or heck even if it's middle of the summer. I will forever cherish this film.

When the little girl just wanted to write a letter to Klaus like everyone else, but couldn't... And so they sat down to listen to her and find out what she wanted, then he tried to build it for her.... That hit the feels. Great movie.

By far my favorite non-Disney Animated Feature. Mind blowing Animation and great Characters. My favorite scene is the scene that this song is in with the little girl with the sled. It gave me so much warmth, happiness and nostalgia of me getting presents at that age with that same reaction, brought me to happy tears. Cannot recommend this movie enough!

Klaus has a strong moral worldview with depictions of honoring your parents even when you do not want to honor them, being selfless is promoted, kindness and peace between people is promoted and depicted, the importance of education for children is extolled.

I gained some inspiration from this movie, something that I’ve hardly ever gained from any movie ever. And, now I’m not trying to sound cliche or anything, but this movie reminded me of the true reason of Christmas, and has inspired me to get into crafting; no more just drawing out ideas and wishing they would come true. I want to create amazing things, I’ve just never had such inspiration. Klaus perfectly conveys the emotion of each unique individual character perfectly, and with the combined music it truly emerged me into each scene, act, and portion of the film. Not to mention that the animation and quality of every frame is amazing! I highly recommend watching this if you’re ever wanting to get in a certain mood for creation, or if you’re just bored and want a good movie to watch.

If you read this entire spiel, thank you and have a wonderful day, wherever you are!

Edit: I didn’t expect my comment to get this much attention! This is the most feedback I’ve ever gotten on any comment I’ve ever made - and from such nice and caring people too! It’s amazing and heart-warming that such kind people would be willing to share a piece of their life with me and others just because I shared my own slice of life! (I think a certain quote from the movie backs this up, something to do with sparking something from within another. ;) ) Anyways, thank all of you for being such sweet souls and taking time out of your day to respond to or like my comment. You have no idea how much I appreciate it!

Edit #2: Merry Christmas everyone! I hope that you all have a wonderful day no matter what holiday you celebrate! And remember, a gift can always be wonderful as long as it comes from the heart! (Ps: where I live, it hasn’t snowed at all this year; It’s just cold and.... blegh. I hope that it snows a lot wherever you guys are! To me, snow is very pretty so I hope that you all get to see at least some this year! It honestly just makes my day to have a cup of peppermint coco near the window, watching snow fall, maybe reading a book. I hope that you guys stay warm and have a Merry Christmas!)

The level of goodwill and kindness in either the people of each clan is indicated by how colorfully they are dressed.

The message of Invisible is powerful and timely, reminding us to be more aware of the invisible struggles and pains that people may be facing. The song encourages us to practice kindness, empathy and love, as these invisible acts can have a profound impact on someone's life.

In a year dominated by animated sequels, this Netflix movie not only stood out as an original property, but also a welcome throwback to hand-drawn techniques. Klaus provides an origin story for Santa Claus, voiced by JK Simmons in a gruff yet tender performance, but the film is just as much about Jason Schwartzman's Jesper, a spoiled rich boy forced to deliver mail on an isolated icy island. Together, both men learn the value of friendship and come to see how one act of kindness can snowball into something even greater. The heartfelt story and vibrant traditional animation will fill the audience with warmth, as if they are sitting in front of the fireplace on Christmas Eve. It is no wonder Klaus swept the Annie Awards.
