This is the first song that actually brought me to tears. I never was in a romantic relationship, but just the idea of a friendship simply fading away is deeply depressing and terrifying to me.

You know how singers can find the audio resonance with, like, glass cups or something and sing at just the right frequency to break them? This song did it with my soul.

I get teary eyed every time I hear "Second chance that I'll never find". Feels like my own heart singing this song after my relationship ended, thank you so much for transforming these feelings into such a beautiful song, this music is an amazing piece of art by itself.

I'm back. This now feels like the end.
The first version (from the animation) feels like the story is not over, because of how the song ends with that chord, and there's something left to come.

This version instead feels like someone feels guilty about something they did to a loved one, then they think there are some hope yet, and they try to fix the situation, but in the end they realize the damage is done... So there's no turn back... And like that, that final chord feels different, like... "You gotta live with it".

I'm back again. As a second thought, I feel this sensation of "You gotta let go and move on".

That’s what we failed to do as parents.” Yellow sat up, and hugged his son. “It’s time for you to go to bed, you’ve heard enough for the night. If you ever want to talk to me about anything, just let me know.” “I love you, daddy.” Said Orange. “I love you too, Orange.” Said the sad, but content father. He turned out Orange’s lamp, and gently shut the door. Orange slowly drifted to sleep, but Yellow lied in bed awake, remembering the good times he had with his dear Red.

I know this song is probably more about a relationship falling apart but I cant help but cry each time due to the fact that this song resonates so much with my life and what its felt like coming out of depression after living and almost dying with it for at least 10 years of my life.

At 21 years old after so many close calls and a loss of hope I finally was able to mostly climb my way out but sometimes I sit realizing half of my life so far is a complete and utter blur of pain, I look at it and wish I could have done something different, not wasted away those years yet instead I sit here with memories I cant recall and I also have to tell myself I haven't lost it all, that there is more to do. But life feels so short and its still painful to think about.

However, thank you for putting these feelings into words. I know you probably didn't mean to but even still, this helped me find myself and become more at piece with these emotions.

This is gorgeous! The vocal layers are so dreamlike, it kind of reminds me of Because by the Beatles a little bit in a really good way. And the song/chords are really pretty, especially that unexpected chord at 1:24 that threw me when I heard it LOL. Looking forward to more!
