How to make Chocolate Coconut Brownie Cake
Please note that the Video my differ from the written recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
225g Softened butter
150g Plan Chocolate broken into pieces
125g Castor sugar
225g Eggs beaten
225g Self Raising flour
75g Coconut
100g Milk chocolate roughly chopped
Icing sugar for dusting
1. Baking tin 21cm x 32cm grease up & lined with baking paper
2. Preheat your oven 180c / 350f
3. Pop your 150g chocolate & 225g butter into a bowl and microwave on low power & stir until melted
4. In a separate bowl sift flour & caster sugar
5. Stir the beaten eggs into the chocolate mixture, and then pour the mixture into the flour & sugar beat well
6. Stir in the Coconut and 100g of chopped chocolate, then pour the mixture into the tin, spread out evenly.
7. Now bake in the preheated oven for 25 mins or until firm to the touch around the edges
8. Once out the oven leave to cool in the tin for 15 mins, then turn out onto a cooling wire
9. Dust with icing sugar and leave to cool, then cut into 12 pieces
