Pak Mei Kuen (White Eyebrow Fist) Practitioner & Teacher here, just wanted to add Hakka Kung Fu (Jook Lum, Lung Ying, Lau Maan Gar, etc.) encompasses many styles of the Hakka Ethnic Group, most of which focus on "short-power" and very close quarters striking and grappling.

Check us out!

just realized all bending styles in Avatar are based off of a form of Kung Fu.
Waterbending - Tai Chi
Earthbending - Hun Gar/Southern Praying Mantis Style(if you’re Toph)
Firebending - Shaolin Kung Fu
Airbending - Baguazhang

I knew they were all martial arts but all of them are forms of Kung Fu? Awesome

Kung fu had been developed for thousand years before Shaolin founded. Shaolin in fact collected techniques from peoples and developed its style.

‘Every’ …

Should’ve been- “some of the most popular”…

Amongst the most popular not in the video:

White Crane [General]
Choy Li-Fut[Foy]
Hung Gar [Hong Quan]
Xin-Yi-Liu-Hei Quan
Baji needs to be mentioned along with PiGua {Grand Master Lee Shu-Wen’s lineage}

My late father practiced tai chi for over 60 years. Tai chi is more exercise than combat skills. It's much more for meditation and slow stretching and movements for health than hand to hand fighting.

Incorrect. Gung Fu didn't all come from shao lin
Also, martial arts from India is older than shaolin

Most who practice tai chi do it only as an exercise and do t even know its a martial art, so i wouldnt count them as practitioners. If anything, use of tai chi in a martial sense is very rare.

You forgot a major South china style: "Hung Gar kune" (Hong Jia Chuan in mandarin)"The fist of Hung Family", which is a major style (codified by Hung-Hei-Gung, Lok Ha Choi, Tit Kiu Sam&Wong Kai Ying to the famous Wong Fei Hung and then Lam Sei Wing, Chan Hon Chung, and nowadays Taai Sifu Paolo Cangelosi (see "Budo International" magazine and videos for more info).
