Totally agree to your way of thinking. If you are going to pay out that money may as well enjoy your labors and buy the tractor. I’m thinking of buying one

I got a 2018 with 15 hrs on it for 9k. Gotta love divorce settlements. I have 1 acre and it has done just fine. A friend has 5 acres no tractor just a ride on mower. The 1st year he believed the tractor should've been bigger. It's done enough work on his 5 acres to make him a believer.

This video showed up and I decided to watch it again after a year. I hope your 1880 is still doing fine as mine is. I have added a few things to mine such as a Made in America JU Fabworks Workmaster plate which is great for hooking up chains and straps and it has a 2" receiver as well. I use mine for pulling logs and anything else needing a chain. I put on the Bxpanded Piranha tooth bar and was able to clear out and level an entire acre on the back of my property without putting any ware on my Bucket. I put underbody protection plate by the same company and 1 1/2 inch spacers. I will end up getting a third function because I want a Grapple and I also built my own snowpusher which I attached to a blank Quick attach plate. I wish I knew how to attach pictures as I would show you what it looks like. I have built 3 more since and sold them all. I noticed you had what looks like Magnetic mirrors which I need to get as well.

Thanks for the video, SmartDawg mentioned the wheel weights in his comment and Honestly they do more to bring the center of gravity lower to the ground and that helps prevent tip over . The suitcase weights are convenient but once the wheel weights are on you could get rid of them and use your hitch. It's all about how high the weights are mounted that counts .

I actually purchased the same mirrors you have on your tractor for my BOBCAT CT 1021. I love those mirrors and they work great. Great video and advise.

Like most men, I want more hp. Something bigger. Looking at a used JD 1025r for 16k. Run across one of these used for 13k. Something to think about! Enjoyed your video!

I have one and I got it in 2021. I most use it for making trails and cutting firewood for the winter heating about 7 cords a year plus anything that comes up. I like it alot I have about 200 hours on it no problems at all

I have the BX2680 because I knew I'd be running PTO attachments so I wanted the extra HP for the PTO. Bought mine in 2021, and as of now I have 125 hours on it...but I look back and realize all the manual labor and time the tractor has saved me.

I do have the 60" mid mount mower but given the setup I have, it takes longer to install/remove it so I use a lawn tractor to mow with, so looking back it would have saved me $2500 by not getting the mower deck. I have the 3rd function kit too, like you thinking I want a grapple at some point, and yep don't have one yet LOL...but the 3rd function is there when I do get the grapple. I have a roto-tiller, box blade, and grading blade for it, as well as pallet forks....I use the pallet forks a lot due to how things are right now to store and move my attachments around, the pallet forks help a lot.

I let my salesman talk me out of stuff when I bought the tractor and regret it now, I paid $1600 to have the 3rd function kit added, that was about $1000 more expensive by having it done after the fact, I also didn't get the rotary cutter, which maybe is a good thing as I kind of think a flail mower would be a better option, but that being said, buy the tractor how you want it configured, not how your salesman tells you because they're not the ones using it.

The 1880 is great if you don't have the need for PTO attachments...it'll lift and move the same amount that the BX2380 and BX2680 will do...the only other thing is the BX23S which is the backhoe model, if you need a backhoe great, otherwise its a waste of money getting that option, and the BX23S is the only way to get the BX with a backhoe.

I was going to rent a tractor/loader/roto-tiller and after being told it was almost $400 just for 4 hours to rent one I said screw that I'll buy a tractor and the attachments/implements I want and be able to use it whenever I want so that's what I did...and I don't regret buying my tractor at all.

These small utility tractors do what they are designed to do.

Very nice Joe. Homestead is looking amazing! I’d like to have a front loader myself. Probably wouldn’t work to well on my zero turn lol.

As far as mowing is concerned I actually purchased a new zero turn mower before I bought the BX and once you have a zero turn mower you will never own anything else. I have about 2 acres of grass and the the zero turn can easily cut over 2 hours off the mowing time or more.

I have the same tractor but I got it in 2021. I have 127 hours on it no problems at all. Plenty of tractor for me

New Subscriber and I've had my 1880 for just over 3 years and I absolutely Love it. I do wish I would have bought the 2380 only because I could have used the back hoe many times. I do have the wheel weights and the spacers. The spacers have pretty much taken away any tipping. I make sure my ROPS are up and always where the seat belt as it will keep you in the tractor if it did tip over.

I had the same issue with the snapped loader pin. I think it’s a flaw in the design. My parking arm stop on that side also bent. My local dealer would not cover it under warranty. $250. It wasn’t the dealership I purchased it through though to be fair. Overall great for my .85 acres. Great for plowing snow.

You can be proud of what you've done with that tractor, Joe. Have you attached any rear implements such as ripper or grader blade? I'm looking at buying one of these tractors, & want whatever implements it will take to get my lawn as smooth as yours!

Wheres all your Paul Short mods? I love all of mine. Paul & Kathy are the best. Their stuff, imo, looks as good or better than oem.

When going down hills put the tractor in low gear and go slow.

What is the overall length with the bucket? And without it attached?
