As you acknowledged, HBO seems to be ruling the roost. I tend to go to HBO first and then Netflix when looking for shows. Each of the other platforms has a few standouts, but these two platforms seem to have a greater number of quality shows.

Such a good list, Elliott. Underground Railroad was an incredible series with an amazing score. The Scenes from a Marriage discussions here were some of the best. Succession sets the bar for character nuance, humor and thrilling family dynamics. The only show I haven’t seen on your list is Invincible. I’ll be checking that out.
HBO is my favorite for sure.

There was a lot of great TV this year. My favorites for the year were White Lotus, Succession, Loki, Only Murders in the Building and Station Eleven.

Midnite Mass stuck with me long after I binged all episodes. Then 2nd season of The Witcher was much better than the 1st, really enjoyed it. Yellowstone hasn't disappointed thus far. The story is getting better each season and excited about the spin-offs.

i see you have invincible on this list but did you ever watch arcane? it replaced invincible for me as the greatest animated show released this year and one of the top shows period! i haven’t seen a review of it on your channel but i hope you can get around to watching it at some point; if you ever get the time that is. believe the hype elliott, it truly is a marvel.

My top has to be Succession! also loved See, Foundation, White Lotus, Fauda, The Expanse, Midnight Mass, Shadow and Bone, Mare of Eastown, Wheel of Time, Dr Death, For All Mankind. Great year! Probably some early 2021 shows I missed but these came to mind! I think show that drop weekly instead of all at once do make more of an impression, especially with discussions either here or Reddit. I enjoy waiting for weekly drops it’s much more fun!!
