This is another BMW E61 5 series wagon issue (😬)...
OEM, E61 part number: 65209183563, new part costs over $400 (as of March 2023).

On my e91 with comfort access the key doesn’t work when the car has been parked in the hot sun for a while. But if it’s cool outside, then it’s fine

Same symptoms and i pulled it out, cleaned the pins really really well until they became shiny, after that i assembled it back on, the radio became clear and loud but the key still doesn't work.

i have these symptoms expect the radio, on a e93 2010 what does this mean?

Heyy, can you help me with mine problem? So my key less system is working, key is working too, but the range of unlocking car is very small, i can unlock my car from only 2-4 meters, sometimes it catches a signal from further, but just sometimes, so is it battery? Or antenna?
