It's amazing that we are still discovering things like this on our planet. It makes you wonder how much has been covered up by time that we will never know about. It goes to show that as much as we like to think we know everything, we actually don't know sh*t.

The squares on the cliff instantly made me think of the square ditch geoglyphs in the Brazilian Amazon that you recently covered. My original thoughts on the square ditches was, perhaps they cleared squares in the jungle for crops and made a ditch around the cleared area to control water, either keeping it in, or out. Maybe square farming was the thing to do, and the way to do it, in the jungle 10k years ago?
It was just my first impressions. I don't know anything about either of these fascinating discoveries...yet.

Read that same article yesterday. So cool. As I recall, the archeologists said the site is so extensive it'll take many generations to properly document it all. Btw... Love your channel!!

I wish we could see all the art and not just a couple small slices

I can believe they are 12, 000 years old. I used to live in Chaska Mn. I was always digging for arrowheads. They were digging up Hwy 101 to raise the bridge and came across skeleton remains and they dated them between 8-12, 000 yrs old. I never heard any more about it, and then I'm not that tech savvy. This was amazing

I lived deep in the Amazon Jungle when I was a teenager. My mother is full blood Wai-Wai indian from Brazil and where I lived we found rock carvings in solid granite depicting animals and humanoids. Very fascinating to find such ancient stuff just lying around out in the jungle.

Offering my condolences for your recent loss Chuck.

Thanks once again for all the quality uploads. Got some catching up to do on your channel actually. Stay blessed Sir.

Bright colors makes me think maybe generations of inhabitants periodically repainted these, rather like the way the locals in England would scour the chalk figure of the White Horse of Uffington.

I *absolutely adore* the completely understated way you say, "That's very interesting." Thanks again for posting!

Open to the elements, in the Amazon, for 12, 000+ years and those images are still crisp and colorful. Mark me down as skeptical.

I wish they would have pictured her next to it, for contrast. I wonder of it's a whole story- it will be interesting to see what they learn..
Thanks for sharing, Chuck!

Call me crazy but a large portion of that looks incredibly similar to a lot of Australian Aboriginal rock art.

The squares in the rock art remind me of the square geo glyphs in the Amazon video you fix a day or so ago Chuck
Great video, extremely interesting

Great one Chuck. Rock art is one of my favorite subjects. A true lens into the past.

Stunning! It boggles the mind that we still find messages from the ancient past. What could the "bat man" image possibly respresent? Another great video man!

There are so many things still to discover, can't wait.

this is typical. Colombian archaeologists have been studying these paintings for decades, now it turns out that they are a discovery. I have personally visited the area for a long time
