Just so you know, the subtitles start to run a little fast about a third of the way through the video, making it hard to keep up.

But this is an excellent video! I wish more videos on Alaska politics had this level of production value.

This is why the government works for the people there post to come up with the solutions. But in said they wanna cook people's money no one that people depend on that because it is so expensive in Alaska. Is not the people making bad investments in companies. But it is said that the average house in a shit part of Alaska is 200k. Or How they have more people out of state taking the money they make and taking it to other States. The government of Alaska or allowing people to rob this state.

You left out that the PFD's are on a 5yr average for each year's pay out.
Also how since 2010 state spending was run-up as soon as Parnell got in along with the gerrymandered Republican locked-down and impregnable majorities. That was in addition to 2014's SB 21 which you did obliquely reference.
But thanks for what you did get here.
BTW Ralph Nader is featuring Ray Metcalfe on Monday, the sixth of March, on his national radio show.

The show is also on KPFA San Francisco (Pacifica Network) @ 10:00 AM @KPFA.org

This video is sustainability doctrine propaganda that derives from the British System of political economy.

The financial interests behind this doctrine do not want monetary and banking policy to enter the discussion so they fund and promote political movements that exclude all mention of challenging the financial system to create credit for the physical requirements of human populations.

The ignorance now occurring in the Alaska state government is rooted in misunderstanding how our economic system functionally works and this video continues promoting false solutions by restricting the conversation in a way that will not fundamentally alter that ignorance.

The fact is that new money is primarily created through the double entry bookkeeping function in bank loan origination and that function must, once again, create the low-interest financial credit necessary for physical production, large and small infrastructure, science, technology, small business and education.

If we continue our current practice of trapping our political debate in fiscal policy while excluding monetary policy and banking there will only be pain, suffering and a lower standard of living in Alaska’s future.
