The TG cameras do not use standard USB ports. They look like micro and mini USB ports, but they aren't. You have to use their cable.

My tg5 Camera turns on while plugged in but I cannot get it to charge.also, didn’t get the wall plug to usb that you show in video...just regular wall plug and usb adapter

Hi, I m using a Tg 5, I just bought it not Long ago, I have fully charged it, and I have not used it. but after a few weeks, I took it out to try, and I realised that I can’t switched it on. With the charging cable on, I can switch it on, but once I removed the cable, it powers off immediately. Can u share with me what might be happening?

Make sure your battery isn't in backwards... that's what lead me to this ^^;;
