the forgotten fang is just bad now, the passive is good but nerfing a end game rod which takes alot of time u really dont want a better ROTD, u want a amazing rod that can give u money and xp, and in my opnion the ROTD is way better

Clever + 2xp gamepass + 2x xp event + rotd + forsaken ponds + captain goldfish = 22.4k exp, the perfect catch one is worth 33k+ exp. Dude that was crazy 😂

My theory for the holly berry and pepperment worm is that its gonna be used for the upcoming northern expedition for a potential exotic or limited fish in that area

Whilst the aurora bait is gonna be used for a potential aurora borealis exclusive fish which can be caught either in northern expedition with aurora borealis or can be caught anywhere aslong as the aurora borealis is in effect. This is also just a hunch

So its probably for the best to actually hold on to those baits in the future

Edit: i actually checked the baits in the actual game and it still has the preferred luck still in place although much weaker compared to the testing server ones but it still means that they might have some use in the future

i spent so long to get to level 750 to get that rod and it’s somehow worse than a rod you unlock 350 levels prior from literally FREE

This update made my fps worst. My fps used to be 70-85 now it barely hits 60.. i also played the test and my fps there was 120. How disappointing..

A very helpful tip from me to get a big advantage of this weekend 2xp...

1.Use Rod of the Depth, Clever Enchant.
2.Hop in and out in server that has Aurora used.
3.Spawn at forsaken and go to the Pond and fish there and MOST IMPORTANTLY, use Rapid catcher bait ONLY
(Don't hesitate to buy bait crate)

From lvl 336 to 361 in just 1 hour grinding. (No 2xp gamepass btw)

I don't like that they add a skip option, We could just wait for it together. The game now kinda looks like a cash grabbing game now. I want the old fisch back where they have just a few micro transactions and a few to no hacker :(

You can get all the lanterns in the calendar from the lantern keeper, I’m not sure if it’s a bug or not but get them while you still can.

i wonder who's in charge of all this balancing and stat setting, because for the most part, every craftable rod basically sucks without being 650 - 750, and even then, they keep spitting at your efforts by nerfing things that have no reason to be nerfed

u can get the day 17 lantern from the lantern keeper as well as all other exclusive lanterns :P

in the updates channel at the server it says that is the fischmas phase 1 so there will be prob a phase 2 that will add new fishes

the preferred luck on the baits is probably for next update, considering that next update is also christmas related

Pretty sure the new bait is gonna be related to the next part of the event. When they release that mountain that you ascend. Probally gonna be spots where you can fish and catch exclusive fishes
