MY TOP PLANNER TIPS:

💡 #1. Set Clear Goals
Start by identifying your academic goals for the year. Whether it’s mastering a specific subject, completing a certain number of books, or focusing on character development, having clear goals will guide your planning.

💡#2. Customize Your Planner
Take time to design your planner to fit your homeschooling style! Add sections that are important to you, such as field trip logs, school rhythm overviews, or reading trackers. This is why I love BINDER SYSTEMS! So easy to insert or remove pages as needed!

💡 #3. Set Aside Flex Days
Life happens, germs are all around, and some days just won’t go as planned. Make sure to plan enough “flex days” into your schedule to catch up on any missed lessons!

💡 #4. Plan Themed Units
Use your planner to schedule themed units around holidays, seasons, or special interests! Or just follow along and hang out with me - this is my favorite thing to do and share! 🙃😉

💡 #5. Track Progress Regularly
Regularly review your children’s progress to ensure they’re on track with their learning goals. Use the notes or reflection sections in your planner to document achievements and areas needing improvement.

💡 #6. Set Up a Weekly & Monthly Review
At the end of each week and/or month, take time to review what worked and what didn’t. Adjust any upcoming plans as needed to ensure your homeschool remains effective and enjoyable!

#7. Don’t Give Up!
It will take time to find and figure out a system and routine that works best for your family! Continue trying different schedules, keep what you like, and eventually you’ll create a system that works for you and your family!
