I don't know, I still feel like King Hippo would be more interesting, especially if the "Spirits" mode is a boss rush like some people predict. Imagine fighting King Hippo in the same kind of stage layout as Rathalos or Dracula

You have no clue how bad I want Glass Joe in this game. He would absolutely perfect. He’s not happening, but I would love him if he did.

Why would we get another Punch-Out! character. Little Mac only got in because he was popular in the west, not in Japan. I think an Assist Trophy would be better and King Hippo would fit that spot perfectly. He could do earthquakes and puch enemy players close to him, but as soon as someone would make him fall on the ground he would automatically be KO'd.

He would be banned from tournament play and make Bayonetta look like the most underpowered character in the game.

He would be to strong that Brawl Meta Knight SSB4 Bayonetta and Melee Fox teaming up against him he would win.

On a serious note I don't think so. But it would be funny.

A new punch-out character would be welcome, but I don't see any being likely. Glass Joe could be a good assist trophy and King Hippo could be a boss in story mode.

I would obviously love a new Punch-Out rep to be in smash even if it's just an echo fighter, but do I think it will happen? Most likely no. Glass Joe would make a good joke character, but I would personally like to see Mr. Sandman. Just imagine a character like Little Mac, but much bigger (A little taller then Giga Mac) that has a lot more range but a little slower in movement and frames of attacks by 2 or 3. I would personally love it if Mr. Sandman was an echo fighter of Little Mac. He could possibly have more range then Marth. Just an idea I thought of.

If we get another Punch-Out!! character in Smash Ultimate as newcomer, I want to be King Hippo. He's more popular, & I think a bit more iconic than Glass Joe, he could have a unique moveset, and has a unique design. Also, King Hippo vs. King Dedede vs. King K. Rool anyone?

I can't see it happening. I think he'd be a hilarious joke assist trophy though. Basically the Little Mac from Brawl except super weak and easy to knock off the stage.

I consider R.O.B. and Wii Fit Trainer to be joke characters.
Glass Joe would an amazing joke character for Smash Bros! I can't see it happening, but I'd main him in a heartbeat.

I had an idea for a new potential fighter. I don't think anyone has spoke on it, since the difficulty of the game gave people HEAD trauma. ENTER Arthur from Ghouls and Ghosts. I think his style of PLAY would be new to SMASH. I believe he could be the FIRST RUN and GUN, platformer in SMASH. Like a HERO in the heat of the k(night)

I can’t see this happening but if he ever is added I guess her be a glass cannon ? I never played Punch Out so I don’t know.
