I just picked up the Duet 3 yesterday and I love it! 😍 It's most definitely an upgrade from the OG Duet. I really liked the OG Duet but I hate how flimsy the keyboard is! When considering the Duet 3, my biggest concern was the keyboard. I love the sturdiness of the new keyboard and the magnents only add to that. I love the ice blue/grey color! It's beautiful but understated. I also love your videos. I've gotten by on Chromebooks but learning about the OS from you is great!

Hi, from the UK. I have seen the Duet 5 and the screen looks fantastic. My question really is this - when we're talking the larger screens, how much do you use it in Tablet mode? For me the benefit of the Duet over a laptop is the portability and tab mode - but with the 5 both of these benefits are perhaps mooted a bit? which is why the Duet 3, though whilst not having as good a screen, is the version with the better "use cases" Just wondering what you think

Haay JoJo, glad you're back with another awesome video, I'm still rocking my original duet, I'm seriously thinking about the duet 3 as you know the duet 5 I bought was defective unfortunately, the USI pen situation is not a deal breaker for me I'll just wait for Lenovo to bring the Lenovo 2.0 USI pen out, so yes I'm thinking the duet 3 would work for me, again great to see you again keep them vids with all the great content rolling out JoJo

I have the Duet 5. I was wondering why you replaced it with the 3? I got a great deal on my Duet 5, when shopping at my local bestbuy. It was on sale and they just happened to have 1 open box. I ended up getting it for $325+tax. I fell in love with the screen! I actually use it more than my M1 iPad pro 12.9 and my Samsung Tab S7 FE.

As a new Duet 5 owner, I have to ask: "what do you mean you caved?" Is there somewhere you've chronicled your experience with the Duet 5 that led you to replace it with the Duet 3? I don't see any videos about it. I'm loving the full-size keyboard, and display on the Duet 5, but it seems a bit too large for handheld tablet use. On the other hand, I think the Duet 3 is too small for a laptop, and the speakers appear to be a bit lackluster for media consumption. Maybe I need a Duet 4.

I just got a duet 3 128gb and 8 gb ram for 150.00 on amazon! With pen

The Penoval pen will work with it as shown on Chrome Unboxed.

Anyway, great review. Because this is smaller and lacks an OLED screen compared to the Duet 5, I believe it should be cheaper (both are $379 on Bestbuy) so I'm waiting for a deal to snag the 3. Hopefully Lenovo will have included a stock pen by then and will also have an 8GB option as well

Thanks for the review. So few people have reviewed this. I've got the OG Duet, which is great, but have been looking forward to upgrading (the OG keyboard is poor) but it's still not available in the UK (pretty sure Europe in general) 😢. We always have to wait months after Chromebooks are available in the morning US. It's no wonder the market is smaller :(

would be cool if there was a vid comparing the duet 2 vs the duet 3, I just bought the duet 2 from Saturn which is a store similar to best buy but in Germany, for 180 euros. For me its enough for now, the duet 3 with 128gb is about 150 euros more.
Here also for 400 euros, you can find an 8gb 128gb one (Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3 10IGL5 10.3 inch IPS Pentium N5030 8GB 128GB)UHD605 NEW

We always see a lot of Windows tablets but very few ChromeOS tablet, so it's great to see Lenovo made one. But because of ARM chipset, I can install Andronix on Android smartphones. So despite me liking this tablet a lot, I'm still struggling about the idea of buying one.
