Aizen literally spent the entire series trying to be the one who stands above all. Asking him to kneel and serve under ANYONE is a big NO.

This is so true especially during deicide and we see how scared Ichigo is of Aizen. Gin saw that fear in Ichigo’s eyes before going into the Dangai. And Gin saw those fearless eyes Ichigo had before he died.


“Evolution is ugly.”-Aizen. The parallels between Ichigo, Aizen, and Yhwach. Is done to absolute perfection. And while Yhwach may see ALL and control fate he doesn’t get it!! Just like Aizen didn’t get when Ichigo returned from dangai. Gin gets it. And Aizen finally gets it in the final fight against Yhwach. Because Yhwach doesn’t see past his own hubris like old man Zangetsu. And it was the very sword Old man Zangetsu gave to Ichigo that finally shattered fate. Aizen definitely grew from who he was in deicide to the end of TYBW.

Because Aizen is Alexander the Great (charismatic. manipulative, seen as above all others) to Ywach’s Ghengis Khan (avoiding the Hitler parallel, Ghenghis conquered everything and used everyone.
