Great Guitar Solos // A Trip in the 70's (Without Stairway...)

This is my tribute to some of the great rock guitar solos from the 70's.

I had to remove Stairway to Heaven because of a copyright issue.

I played all guitars, bass, keyboards and I programmed the drums with a Native Instrument plugin.
All guitars and bass were recorded with the Kemper profiler.

The most amazing thing about this dude is not that he perfectly hits literally every note, but that he manages to directly imitate the style of each player, which is REALLY hard to do. Extremely impressive

I shed a wee Scottish tear today. I am a couple of weeks away from my 65th birthday, and the penny finally dropped that in my wildest dreams, I will never ever be able to play guitar like this, BUT, the tear was just as much one of joy because a guy who can play guitar like that took the the time to share it with the likes of me, and in so doing, he has made me want to keep on trying, keep on learning, keep on wanting to be that good even though I know I never will be. What I loved about this comfortably numb solo is how some strokes are timed differently to go along with the drum beat, which makes it more rhytmic
