We all picked out a Hallmark ornament every year when my kids were growing up. When my son got married he took his and when my daughter moves out next month she will take all of hers. The oldest ornament I have was given to me by a young boy and his family that I took care of when I was a nurses aide in the pediatric unit in the late 70's. He passed away shortly after that Christmas and I still hang it on my tree every Christmas in his memory.

I love this channel, mostly because seeing a father so engaged in their autistic child's life. I'm a mother of autistic son and I feel alone and exhausted. My husband cares he's just not patient and doesn't know what to do. You guys are an amazing family, you are blessed to have an older son so mature and nurturing to his sister.

I’ve been volunteering in hospitals since the 90’s. Right now I’m volunteering in 2 hospitals. All the different departments I have volunteered in at the hospitals throughout the years. Labor and delivery, outpatient, medical records, outpatient rehab, flowers room taking flowers to patients rooms.

We do the same! But we have 2 rules.. has to mean something for the year or the craziest ornament you can find! We literally have a stick of butter and broccoli on our tree and all the things!

My husband and I started the ornament tradition the year we got married (2017)! Ours this year is our first ultrasound of our baby we are expecting in March! We can’t wait to continue the tradition with her!

My mother has bought my brother and I a new ornament every year since the year we were born and gave them to us when we moved into our own homes and had our own first Christmas tree. My oldest ornament is a little pink kneeling angel that says “Baby’s first Christmas 1966”. She also used to buy a separate trinket, sometimes and ornament, but always something christmas related to decorate with, and she would hide $5 in the item and we would have to find it either on the tree or in the room the tree was in. We got to keep the money and the item. Best childhood ever all thanks to my Mother and her love of Christmas magic!

My oldest is 1983. It’s a hallmark new baby ornament. My mom gave one every year and started at birth for us. I’m 38 and I still receive one every year.☺️ And now so do my kids 🥰

1970 when I was born. its wooden and it has an angle in it. My dad bought it, I miss him so much, he passed back in 1994.

For years my Dad would make me cardinals for my tree. So.. on my tree only has white snowflakes and red Cardinals. I think it beautiful. Merry Christmas Mass family.

Our oldest ornament is a bell from before my oldest sister passed away at the age of 7 due to a school bus accident in 1972. It was always her favorite and is now the first one to go on our tree near the top every year.
