But, of course, that's not the case and there's a lot more to the full story than those two numbers. This might be my favorite Dean Z vid, and I started thinking that even before the admission cat meows, which elevate all videos!
The tone and pause at 13:10 of “but then it gets…worse, ” slayed me. I think this video is rather entertaining but also very insightful. The comments on everything, from the unobjectionable but uninspiring resume to the restrained recommendations also revealed important things in an app and in a student. Specificity and showing rather than just telling are important in the app. And being open and fighting intellectual laziness are important as a student - and a person.
On the subject of alumni monsters and Chicago, I have a Chicago/Michigan connection, as do both Leopold and Loeb, both of them having attended both universities. Not the greatest representatives 😅

For those of you who don't get the reference, Dr. Spaceman is the unethical doctor in 30 Rock who the main characters frequently go to when they need something unethical yet convenient that is medically related done for them. For example, getting access to non-FDA approved drugs, illegal drugs, or getting medical endorsements for dubious health products.
