Works great on beaver. Good heavy trap, I make between 30 and 40 sets with these a year. I also use 330 and 280’s and average about 50 sets with them. Keep finger under jaw when nite latching as shown or your in for a world of hurt. Peace

Fifty years ago in the Adirondacks I trapped Beaver for one season and learned it involved too much time and work for the money. However, for thirty more years I continued trapping everything else available and never used anything but the Oneida #2 double coil. Nothing bigger is needed. The trapper catches critters, not the trap!!!
