As long as they don’t cut content and treat the previous version with care it can work. I think the most important thing to note is the Spencer Mansion is a character in itself. As long as they give us new ways to experience the Spencer Manor while also respecting what came before it could work.

If capcom remakes resident evil 1, we should be able to play as Kenneth, forest, and any of the bravo members who went in the mansion first.. they could make the mansion even bigger with scarier traps or a reimagining of the mansion .. or even a scene for each player, a day before the events..

I'm okay with a remake like 2, 3 and 4. If they mess it up we will always have the og remake wh8ch is how a remake is meant to be created.
