Τα ξύλα να είναι 5 Χ 2,5 εκατοστά, χρειαζόμαστε 2 X 30 εκατοστά
2 Χ 1 εκατοστό πιο μεγάλα από το πλάτος του τραπεζιού και 1 40 εκατοστά που θα βάλουμε στο τραπέζι να το στηρίζει, τα πηρακια 6 χιλιοστά η βίδες , αν το κάνετε με σωλήνες στα ίδια μέτρα με σωλήνα 38Χ20 1,5 χιλιοστά

Άνετα μπαίνουν και μεντεσέδες στα σημεία των αρθρώσεων, στο πόδι και στην τάβλα πάνω στο κάσωμα.
Δε χρειάζεται απαραίτητα να τρυπηθεί η τάβλα και να ψάχνουμε να βρούμε σιδεράκια. Αλλά ελλείψει μεντεσέδων, μια χαρά θα δουλέψει και το τρύπημα.

- How to make a foldable table

In this video I experiment with a simple idea of a foldabe table, which can be attached on the wall. The main table is a board, measuring 50x70cm. The idea is to make a base, a frame, onto which the edge of the table will be attached through a hinge system, allowing it to fold up and down. The securing mechanism of the open table will be a single diagonal beam underneath, that will hold the table open on the frame. Needless to say that the frame needs to be securely attached on the wall.

The frame is made using two wooden sticks 30cm long, and another two measuring 51cm long, just about a centimeter longer than the width of our table. This will allow the table to move inside the frame.
The two 30cm sticks will be the sides, and the longer ones will be the lateral beams of the frame. As I show in the video, first we screw in the sides to the lateral beams, forming the frame, and to the edge of the frame we attach the table, either with normal metal hinges from any hardware store, or by drilling holes to the sides of the table and using metal rods to make pivot points. I follow the later method, and it worked just fine.

The securing mechanism will be one wooden stick, which will be attached at the specific point I show in the video, so that it won't interfere with the frame, and it needs to be long enough to hold the table horizontaly. The length of that stick can be manipulated even after the installation, so that the table is steady at the correct position. A small nail at the edge of the stick will act as a catch, to secure that leg onto the frame at the open position.
The frame can also be made out of metal. The general idea is the same.

Remember to use marine plywood or other durable wood, to stand the weather conditions, if you're planning to use it outdoors. And also it's a good idea to paint it in that case.
Installation on the wall is also a relatively easy job, by using wall plugs and screws. Using long screws will help hold higher weight, and the more screws you use, the more weight it can hold.
