Great to see GT becoming relevant again. In the late 80s, early 90s, GT was the mountain bike to have... well, them and Klein. GT was my very first MTB and someday I will own another one.

I tried gravel and then ended up with a hardtail and the excellent Surly Corner Bar and gravel tyres from Planet X. So much cheaper, durable and more versatile on the trails I ride.

Wake me up when we can get 2x drivetrains on gravel bikes again. I like a huge gear range so unless it has a 10-50t cassette, 1x is worthless to me on any drop bar bike

I have been ridding and buying bikes for 20 years (some of them top end bikers) and I will never understand how a bike with no suspension and just one derauler can cost more than 1.500 - 2.000€ 🤷🏻‍♂️

I bought the GT, and love it. The street price is lower than the MSRP, and you can get the Elite for around $2k.

All over $4k…I’ll just have to keep being slow 😂

IMO, any new gravel frame that does not support 50c tires should be an automatic deal breaker in 2024.

Funny thing is that the GT Grade LE isn’t available anymore. They sold me one of the last ones but couldn’t deliver so they gave me the next model down for free. Took that money and bought new wheels ect. Great frame though… just rode it on gravel today.

This is awesome! My first gravel bike was the first GT grade I bought in 2015. Still rides amazing! I'll definitely gonna check if the newer version is even better!! I can already guess the answer!

Easy, ridden lots of bikes..my choice is the Cannondale Supersix SE frame set built up with Force 2x AXS, some good wide carbon gravel wheels and wide tubeless tires around 42-45mm. If you like 1x the slap on the Eagle 12spd rear with a force 1x in front. Fast, responsive, stable on downhills, big tire clearance, good frame warranty, and 2x compatibility without losing tire clearance is easy choice. New model around the corner upgrades if you want to a delta steering tube for integrated cockpit cables.
Bike continues to do well including winning Unbound 200 Gravel this year and for some reason is ignored by the press.

Always enjoy Warren’s review……all great bike. But how can the solid gold one be the cheapest?

Gt grades got
Tapered head tube
Suspension corrected geo
Slacker head angle
Lower bb
Steeper seat tube
Shorter chainstays
More tyre clearance ( run 2.0 on mine)
More compliance.

Gen3 gt grades a all new beast

I’m throwing the Lauf Seigla in with these. Can’t beat the value and quality period.

I would definitely buy a GT bike if they offered 45-50mm tire as a stock option. They look good but I don't want to change the tire myself.

Maybe I am biased as I own a Terra, but the only reason I would not buy a GT is that the design does not suit my eye. Totally understand and respect the bold and effective design choice.

Honestly have tried out several gravel bikes and can't beat the giant revolt advanced for their compliance and price..

The best gravel bike in 2024 is Supercaliber with drop bars. ;)

Thinking of a gravel bike to supplement my winter riding and possibly do some gravel races here in the UK now.
I already have an Epic 8 MTB and Roubaix, However I notice that most of the gravel bikes don’t even have mudguard mounting except the Diverge and Revolt and i am fed up with crappy strap on mudguards which i have had plenty of on my Roubaix(Not SL8)

I’m waiting for the new Cervelo aspero Rival to become available. Be good to know how that bike compares to these 3???
