I remember when this teaser first came and these 39 seconds with the swelling music in the background built so much hype and the conversation happening drew so much speculation about how KH3 was gonna play out...

I just LOVE the part at 0:31, when the piano crescendos and the "III" logo flashes; I don't know why. It's just epic, and seems so dark (even though this song is one that's already out there, from the piano collections) I didn't know how much I needed Xehanort and Eraqus backstory until now

There's 2 people talking in this. As soon as the new speaker comes in, the 2nd face comes in. And yes, it could be Young Master Xehanort and Young Master Eraqus talking back to back in a certain cutscene.

People seem to be in the same boat as me here. The guy on the left is likely an older Young Xehanort and the guy on the right is a Young Eraqus. Well, I'd assume anyway.
This gives me hope that my theory of a new Xehanort incarnation being in the new Organization XIII is true.

The fact that the KH3 teaser portion of this trailer began with "The next act opens..." when the preceding 2.5 trailer opened with "One act closes...", means that Nomura was outright confirming to us even back in 2014 that KH3 was going to have deliberate loose ends in its story and was just as much intended to be the first installment in what is now known as the "Lost Master Arc" as it was the end of the "Xehanort Saga". In other words, Nomura himself spoiled that KH3 was gonna have a cliffhanger ending through this very trailer in a way that was subtle enough for most fans to just completely ignore it! XD

What's the meaning of it? Is there's something we don't actually know about Eraqus and Young Xehanort?

Such a foreboding and mysterious trailer for an otherwise lackluster and underwhelming story to a game six years in the making. The trailer implied something grander. But it gave us nothing more than what Dream Drop Distance told us. I love this trailer to no end. It gives me a glimmer to what KH3 should have been.
