I had a Cockatoo a long time ago. He was SO
smart. My daughter ALWAYS was home from school before i got home from work. I'd announce myself when i walked into the apartment. Soon Bonkers was announcing my arrival. Perfect pitch. Just amazing 🤩🤩🤩🤩

My cousin did this with his bird and now the darn thing wakes me up at random times playing various things on the drums from snares to chimes. I swear it knows it annoys us and likes it. I'll stare him down and he'll continue to drum without breaking eye contact.

This is so wholesome. I love how he's trying to figure out what you want him to do. First he thinks it's about the rythm, so he peeps. That didn't yield a treat, so he tries tapping the drum, but that also yielde nothing. Then you see him think for a moment, and he's like "Maybe I should click?", but nope. "Maybe it's about just the movement in general?" But again nope "I'm trying the drumming again, that's gotta be it"
I hope you gave him a nice big treat afterwards!
