Today I saw Mark Sebastion on Money Morning say, “Anyone who teaches you to collect premium for options is either a liar, or stupid, or both.” When I heard him say that… I turned his video off. He is an ex market maker in options on the CBOE. His thing is buying options based on his special VIX method. I have proved to my own satisfaction, that collecting premium, trumps trying to buy lottery ticket options to win. Because you have no control over the magnitude of any move. Most just piss out in your direction with very little to no profits. Oh, NFTs? I think most have very little to no intrinsic value. But the concept of digital ownership is valid to me, If…… there is real value.
