This year's SPOBIS was a complete success. Our Sales Managers Jonas Lösche and Sebastian Bester, as well as our CEO Andreas Kitzing visited the biggest sports business conference in Germany last week. After a long time of no networking opportunities and personal exchange within the sports business industry, it was finally that time again and we were even more pleased to be part of the #spobis21!

Our highlight certainly was our masterclass about the future of sports sponsorship. The future of sports sponsorship is driven by digitization, especially since the pandemic has acted like a huge digitization catalyst. But in which direction is sports sponsorship developing exactly? The discussion was preceded by three theses:

#1 New Efficiency: Digital sponsorship processing will make sponsorships more cost-efficient.

#2 New Relevance: Athletes are more successful influencers.

#3 New Playgrounds: Digitization expands the sphere of influence of brands: From reach to activation

With André Scheidt (Moderator), Dennis Aogo (Former professional footballer), Michael Wagmann (Head of BMW Motorsport Marketing & Partnerships/BMW), Tim Jost (Head of Sponsoring, Marketing & Sales / Holstein Kiel)⁠ and of course Andreas Kitzing (CEO/Sponsoo) we had great speakers and an interesting discussion.
