Hey Jared. Been viewing your videos for awhile and just came across these 5 "beginners." I love them! I am 72 years old and started playing drums with my best friend (a bassist, don't hold it against him), this year. I confess I'm not much of a drummer, but I did at least played percussion throughout most of my school years and I'm apparently good enough to work with a quite well-known Maine band called Country Comfort. Long story short, I am excited to get started on these awesome training videos (as soon as everyone's awake...it's 4:30 A.M. here in Maine). I'm pretty sure I'll be wanting that 6th lesson as soon as I've mastered the techniques in the first five. Thanks so much for providing great incentive for us virtual beginners.

What size and make crash are you using?

What king of drumset are you using. Yamaha? Is it a oak custom?
