I think what is happening in the States is that the beekeepers who use OA have moved on from what the label says and have found a dose that works for them. Very interesting study, Humberto. I have been considering Thymol in my Apiary.

How did thyme oil compare with oregano oil? 95% is a great result. I am growing oregano presently. I wonder what the result would be if i put some oregano into my smoker. Would the oregano laced smoke cause a mite drop? Do bees that forage on oregano get any benefits? Could you give us more details on the oil infusers that were in the hive? Thanks

Oxalic acid is sublimated and vaporized. With treatments being a few days apart, for 3 - 5 treatments, depending on mite counts.. 95% efficacy

I use organic oregano oil, and blue shop towels. New towels every 2 weeks, for 3 rounds. Works great. Oregano oil is costly….

Great video but I wish it would provide a bit of more information. Currently I have been using essential oils mixed with coconut oil on paper towels in my hives, and it seems to be working great. I was wondering if anyone would know what are those atomizers or dispensers they are using, and what are they mixing the essential oil with for delivery. Maybe just water?

Oxalic acid massive dose kills some mites, no mention of also decimating the brood and Queen too?

What about growing a lot more wildflowers with some herbs like thyme and oregano varieties hedges amongst hives or where hives are going to be? That plus what I'm seeing on "brood breaks" / artificially splitting / to simulate a swarm might be an interesting combination of methods so we don't get synthetic chemicals in our honey and damaging the bees long term just because some company sponsored a chemical that kills mites and didn't mention how savage it is on the bees too.

First time I saw your video an eye opener for me. I like the idea of a natural treatment. I would like to try the oregano and clove oil. Is there any brand name you would suggest to do the oil treatment?

(Nigella Sativa) Black Seed oil I wonder if this was tested also? (Nigella Sativa) is used as a medicine in the Middle East, very good stuff👍

Greatly appreciate your videos, ive been emulsifying a dropoer full of thymol in blender with water then mixing with 5gal 1:1 sugar syrup. Gonna try emulsified oregano/water in a fogger machine on one hive, ill let you know the results, thanks

Thymol from Thyme may also be effective once the given strength could be determined. Perhaps potted thyme around the hive could also help by means of deterring pests? If bees collected from massive fields of Oregano or Thyme they could develop adherence and immunity over time.

Here's an idea
Just grow oregano and mint next to the hives
I've done this for 3 years and never had a problem😆
