Stony Brook University Town Hall on The New York Climate Exchange

Stony Brook University hosted a special Town Hall and three campus celebrations on April 25, 2023, to mark the creation of The New York Climate Exchange on Governors Island in New York City.

Stony Brook alumnus Craig Allen '79, chief meteorologist for WCBS-880, moderated the event, which included President Maurie McInnis, Associate Dean for Research and Associate Professor Kevin Reed of the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, and Associate Vice President of Campus Planning, Design and Construction William Herrmann. The panel answered questions about the Climate Exchange in a Q&A format.
