After all these years, I still love flying the 757.

0:57 apart from the pitch up, that was quite a smooth landing!

Most likely, the go around was called just before the relatively hard touchdown. As long as thrust reversers aren’t deployed, you can still go around. Also, once you begin a go around, you follow through with it.

2:18 I love the buzzsaw sound of big turbofans at full thrust. That's the fan blade tips breaking the sound barrier.

I could do the whole 3 minutes of that last one with the 757-200 departure in the early morning. Extremely Gorgeous and love the sound.

I've flown 100s of times, but every time I hear the thrust reduction, my bloods runs cold - think the engines have packed up Stupid, but there you are 😢

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO GO AROUND ! 😉
If the reverse thrust is not activated, go-around remains possible after touchdown.

I remember my first flight and the engine sound suddenly reducing after take off. i thought we lost the engines and that was it.
Till date i'm very surprised at how cool and composed i was, thinking that freaking out wouldn't change anything about the situation. better to go out proudly like a man !!

Cessnas freak me out enough as is lol. If people could fly tin cans, Cessna comes to my mind.

The thrust reduction sound always sparks a second of unease in me. Like the sound of engines turning off 😅 that sunrise while above the clouds is gorgeous

That final clip of the departure from SFO was at sunset to the west, not sunrise.

"Go around. Go around. GO AROUND"
"nope"
"ok"
"GOING AROUND"

2:00 that Cessna landing feels so chaotic, it almost seems like it's coming in hot but then it tip stalls right before touching down? Was it overloaded or something?

Is anyone else pretty sure that Cessna caravan stalled (its left wing) right before it touched down? Sure looked like it. That wing dropped super fast.

That’s crazy that Cessna stalled onto the runway

2:20 I didn’t realize the sun started to rise in the West sky? This is SFO, runway 1R, north departure. This point of view is the left side and would be facing west. This is a SunSET not SunRISE.

2:02 nothing like stalling onto the runway ❤

I may look silly, but, if the BA A320 had already safely touched down, why did the pilots continue with the go-around?

The late go around one, does anybody know why in this situation the pilots still decide to go around while the plane seems to be landed and in stable condition? I have seen a couple of similar go arounds and wonder why?
My best guess is that when go around is initiated it cannot be aborted and there is a delay for the engine to respond to the go around original command.

That cessna... practically smashed the wing into the ground as well despite the high wing design 🙈
