That looks like something a locksmith and carpenter would use on a door at a construction side. The carpenter would handle the door, the locksmith would handle the lock.

If I worked at a factory that would come in handy, but in the field I just use a tape measure. That looks too expensive and too single purpose to want to have taking up space in my tool trailer, that and deadbolts and doorknobs come with a template for exactly that
