We review A10 Tank Killer by Dynamix. While I intended to play the PC version I opted for the Amiga in the end with better sound and brute force acceleration to give us a smooth experience.

I really enjoyed playing this one.

I played this as a kid on my dad's Bondwell 286 laptop, with a monochrome LCD screen with no backlighting. It was still fun, and played it on an CGA screen, too.

You should have played the Amiga version. I remember that rocking sound track well...it kinda reminded me of the theme to Strike It Lucky with Michael Barry more!

How is your Amiga specced here? This looks absolutely stunning. I have tried this on one of my accelerated machines but I didn't get framerates this smooth.

Hey, great episode! Was wondering, what is the tune you use for your intro and outro? For some reason the game Moon Patrol pops into my head.

This was for me the coolest game in the world, back then.

First game I played on my dad's 266 pc. Think it ran off 11ghz boosted to 22 when you pressed the turbo. Great game and mind blowing graphics for the day.

Used to play this but my fave Sims where f18 interceptor and gunship 2000. Interceptor was epic.

The mechanics of games in the era were far above what is available today. Falcon 3.0 really pushed that home. Everything flipped to be graphics critical and mechanics light.
