I was diagnosed with periodontal disease with 4-5 mm pockets and so I need this procedure done! What is the best way to do it? By quadrants? And how long does it typically take to heal? I am so sadddd my teeth have gotten this bad. Is it possible for gums to reattach back to teeth? I don’t want to have this procedure done if my teeth can fall out.

I have learned more about tooth issues and terminologies than i have overall in my life!

I haven't been to the dentist for over 10 years now, after having had a very negative experience i became extremely scared (don't judge) as you can imagine my teeth are in a bad way now....
my bottom front teeth are basically a single unit now - having not understood how tartar (will never forget the Jaffar metaphor for long as i live!) i dared not flossing.. thinking i'd chip off the actual tooth itself.. as i say - clueless is the theme of this comment.

Today i had a small chip come away from this one piece that is the inside of my lower teeth as mentioned above now I have a gaping hole and considering using a home kit to fill it...
Would you recommend me doing this or should i be cautious of filing in - what essentially is a "bed of tartar"?
Yes sure, going to the dentist YESTERDAY is the correct answer.... accept I have next to 0 money left after the xmas preps, besides guess what i don't actually have a dentist..
I am determined to go and start rehabilitation come January but currently I am sat here surfing teeth stuff trying to stomach all the *head shaking, judging* and the "should have come much earlier" that is about to occur when I'm hit with a 10K bill for having to rebuild a new mouth.

What would you recommend?

I have been brushing and flossing even with water floss. I have been going to the dentist twice a year for the first 26 years of my life. Just in these past two years, I haven't been to the dentist and now the dentist will only allow me to get deep cleaning for 1000 dollars (no insurance).
