thanks to this generous sponsorship from Squarespace, i will be able to donate $500 to Youth Justice Coalition LA. all ad revenue from this video will also be donated!
i understand that many creators are choosing to remain muted in solidarity with protesters + to educate themselves about the issues. I personally feel that I can best use my platform to get these issues in front of a wider audience. as an Asian woman who doesn't face racially-biased police brutality, I'm not here to drown out those with more expertise on these issues. I'm here to amplify a cause that we can all work to help! please check out this link to learn more about what you can do, no matter how little time or money you may have to give.
you can sign petitions, donate, call your reps, & learn about the issues!

please do note I filmed this a while ago, and the jokes I made about paying for tuition w/ this particular video are no longer up to date! all proceeds from this video will be donated.

I love the way how Jasmine is so humble

Isn't this scary that she got rejected from so many schools even though she seems to be a perfect student? Perfect GPA, very good test scores, top notch extracurriculars, internships, big YT channel, published a book...

really curious to hear your parents' side of the story! what you were like growing up, what their thoughts are of your youtube channel, academic decisions, etc.

Current UCLA student here. First of all, congrats and welcome! Second, this is probably the most comprehensive admissions video for UCLA that I've seen. Great job :)
