I lived Phoenix years ago and we got a 120 degree day. Planes could not take off so the airport closed. They can't get any lift at the temp. A friend fried an egg on the sidewalk. These are temperatures for drying fruit!

Humidity is the absolute worst no matter what temperature it is. 2 weekends ago here on Long Island it was 90 on Sat. and 92 on Sun. with low humidity/dew point. It was hot, yeah, but I barely noticed it. Days later it was like 76 and humid and I thought I was going to die. I’ll take 100 and dry over mild and humid any day.
