DJ Carlo, you’re so awesome in the way that you share your talents and try to teach people exactly what you’re doing. I was a DJ for many years known for doing very smooth mixes back in the day, I worked in most of the night clothes around town over the years and did mix shows on the radio on the weekend. We didn’t have all the cool things they have now. We had a few samples and loop buttons etc. but nothing to the level They are now. I retired from DJing with ringing in my ears (tinnitus), and got a real job as they say. But hearing all your smooth transitions and different ways of mixing using echoes and making jumps from faster songs to slower songs, so much smoother than we used to ( we used to do back spins or turn the power off on the turntable, and as a song slowed down slam in the new slower track )makes me wanna break out the DJ equipment and do some DJing at the house on Friday night just to unwind. Of course, I will have to
use some updated software and maybe a controller. I’ve still got tons of records and CDs from back in the day. thanks again for the great
inspiration and for all you do for people. I loved DJing, but tinnitus was the only bad thing that came out of it., I guess you could possibly warn some younger DJs, but when you’re younger and having fun in the nightclubs, you don’t think about the downside of it. I guess I shouldn’t of held those smooth mixes for so long all those years. Lol, keep up the great work.

One thing I also noticed that you are very good at and a lot of DJs aren’t, is what I call DJ psychology. You understand the most important thing is keeping people on the floor happy and the dance floor packed. While tricks are cool and fun it’s good to keep them within reason, so your audience is happy with hearing the songs they want to hear and dancing.
It’s also very cool that you don’t mind sharing all your secrets, all the ways that you do things. For years many DJs didn’t wanna show their secrets to everyone else so they could seem like they were the only ones that could do it, but it’s great when you know some other DJ isn’t going to take your job, so why not encourage DJs around the world and the DJ movement to build.
