Welcome to Shirley SHRM, where excellence in HR leadership is our focus. In this video, I'm going through the different types of SHRM certifications, the SHRM Certified Professional certification and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional Certification. Not sure which certification is best for you? Come along and find out!
If you're interested in breaking into HR, the SHRM-CP certification could be a great option for you. Without an experience or degree requirement, the certified professional credential is a nice fit for those looking to differentiate themselves within the HR field.
For those with three or more years of higher-level, strategic HR experience, the SHRM-SCP certification may be the best fit. While this certification does not have a degree requirement and individuals need not be working in an HR-specific title, the three-or-more year requirement differentiates the senior credential from the certified professional.
