Meet Dr. Alfredo Trento! He's the Vice Chair of Outreach & Business Development, #CardiacSurgery and Director Emeritus, #CardiothoracicSurgery at #CedarsSinai. His research focuses on several areas: heart and heart-lung transplantation procedures, graft atherosclerosis (and ways to prevent it by creating an animal model of heart transplantation and using different immunosuppressant agents) and the process of calcification and degeneration of valve bioprosthesis.

Dr. Danny Ramzy was my heart surgeon in 2021 when I had my 3rd heart valve replacement from open heart surgery.
Dr. Ramzy was an awesome physician with great personality and surely makes you feel hope and recovery. He surely took great care of me. I still engage with him at his new hospital in Texas as the new Chief Surgeon.

Shortly, I will be fly out to see Dr. Ali Azizzadeh Vascular Surgeon and hope he has a great personality like Dr. Ramzy.

I went in to see Dr Trento for a second opinion. He looked at me and said "You don't have to let me do the surgery now, but you really need to get the heart repair soon." I was under 50 and scared as hell. He talked be through what he'd do in the procedure, and it was his confidence and mannerism that comforted me enough to do what was needed. 4 years later, I'm good to go. Thanks Doc.
