Bollywood’s longest-running film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, known as DDLJ, still shows every day at the Maratha Mandir Theatre in Mumbai – 27 years after its premiere.

Kajol, who plays main character Simran, reflects on why it’s become so loved around the world.

Also in chapter 3 Imran in verse 19 ALLAH swt said “Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam.” يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لَا تَغْلُوا فِي دِينِكُمْ وَلَا تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْحَقَّ ۚ إِنَّمَا الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَىٰ مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِنْهُ ۖ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ ۖ وَلَا تَقُولُوا ثَلَاثَةٌ ۚ انْتَهُوا خَيْرًا لَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا اللَّهُ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ سُبْحَانَهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ ۘ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًاChapter 3 verse 116O people of the book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor Say of ALLAH (God) aught but the truth.Christ Jesus the son of mary was (no more than) a messenger of ALLAH (God), His word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: So believe in ALLAH (God) and His messengers.Say not "trinity" ; desist: it will be better for you:For ALLAH (God) is One ALLAH (God): Glory be to Him:(Far exalted is He) above having a son.To Him belong all things in the heaven s and on earth. And enough is ALLAH (God) as a disposer of affairs.لَنْ يَسْتَنْكِفَ الْمَسِيحُ أَنْ يَكُونَ عَبْدًا لِلَّهِ وَلَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ ۚ وَمَنْ يَسْتَنْكِفْ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَيَسْتَكْبِرْ فَسَيَحْشُرُهُمْ إِلَيْهِ جَمِيعًاChapter 4 verse 172Christ disdaineth nor to serve and worship ALLAH (God), nor do the angels, those nearest (to ALLAH): those who disdain His worship and are arrogant, - He will gather them all together unto Himself to answer.وَإِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ أَأَنْتَ قُلْتَ لِلنَّاسِ اتَّخِذُونِي وَأُمِّيَ إِلَٰهَيْنِ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ ۖ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أَقُولَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِحَقٍّ ۚ إِنْ كُنْتُ قُلْتُهُ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتَهُ ۚ تَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِي وَلَا أَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِكَ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِChapter 5 verse 116And behold! ALLAH(God) will say : " O Jesus the son of mary Didst thou say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of ALLAH (God)?" He will say: Glory to thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say) .Had I said such a thing, thou wouldst indeed have known it.Thou knowest what is in my heart, thou I know not what is in thine. For thou knowest in full all that is hidden مَا قُلْتُ لَهُمْ إِلَّا مَا أَمَرْتَنِي بِهِ أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمْ ۚ وَكُنْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا مَا دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ ۖ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيْتَنِي كُنْتَ أَنْتَ الرَّقِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَأَنْتَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌChapter 5 verse 117Never said I to them aught except what thou didst command me to say, to wit, worship ALLAH (God), my Lord and your Lord'; and I was a witness over them whilst I dwelt amongst them; when thou didst take me up thou wast the watcher over them, and thou art a witness to all things.إِنْ تُعَذِّبْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ عِبَادُكَ ۖ وَإِنْ تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُChapter 5 verse 118"If thou dost punish them, They are they servant: if thou dost forgive them, thou art the exalted in power the Wise .مَا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِنْ رِجَالِكُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًاChapter 33 verse 40Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the messenger of ALLAH (God ), and the Seal of the Prophets: and ALLAH (God) Has full knowledge of all things.وَإِذْ قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَمُبَشِّرًا بِرَسُولٍ يَأْتِي مِنْ بَعْدِي اسْمُهُ أَحْمَدُ ۖ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ قَالُوا هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌChapter 61 verse 6And remember, Jesus the son of mary, said " O children of Israel! Iam the messenger of ALLAH (sent) to you, confirming the law (which came) before me(taurah), and giving Glad tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmed.
