Washington, Riyadh sign arms deals worth $110 billion

The United States says it has signed arms deals worth 110 billion dollars with Saudi Arabia .During the first day of President Donald Trump's visit to the oil-rich country. The US says the deals aim to bolster Saudi Arabia's contribution to counter-terrorism operations across the region. Meanwhile, state-owned oil firm Saudi Aramco said it signed 50 billion US dollars in agreements with American companies. Saudi Energy minister Khalid al-Falih said deals involving all companies totaled over 200 billion dollars. Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia is the first leg of a trip that will later see him in Israel, the Vatican, and Italy for the Group of Seven meeting.
