Excellent review! I really liked There There, but I agree that it was maybe a bit overly ambitious in trying to focus on so many different characters. Wandering Stars is one of my most anticipated reads for 2024. I got a copy from BOTM a few months back and am hoping to get to it soon. Hearing your thoughts on it has just made me all the more excited to jump into it.

Nice review, I read this without having read There There and I must confess to being a little confused at times. Still it was a good book.

It was already on my wishlist, now thanks to your review it's top of my wishlist (though I'll wait for the paperback issue). I'll have to re-read There There until then.

don't think I've ever read any indigenous american fiction before. Have read some books by someone called john twelve hawks but think it's just a pen name for a mainstream white author.⚛😀
