Monster Hunter 3 Tri G - First 20 Minutes

I am not a Monster Hunter Expert, this is the only version of the game I have and I have not had a lot of time to play this beyond the intro quests, I am unable to answer the game related questions, hopefully other viewers will be able to answer these.

@Yamtendo Yes, this is pretty much where the game shines, having three friends right there with you choreographing teamwork to work your way through the harder hunts.

The open cinematic which I skipped is different as it shows new flagship monster etc, but this is a (significant) expansion to Tri after all

Dude, in any Monster Hunter game, you'll still feel like a noob even after 60 hours, trust me.

Recently announced WiiU version will have online, the 3DS version is local wifi only.

@smashmaster95 Monster Hunter is more comfortable to play with the slide pad. It only really adds the ability to control camera with a physical control on the right hand side, (doesn't take advantage of the ZR/ZL buttons, these just do the same as L/R) but this makes life easier than using on screen d-pad to handle moving and looking at the same time. The whole monster hunter "claw" style gaming is alleviated. The added bulk is also comfortable in the hand.

In this one I believe I used a sony camcorder, but really what matters is that you use a camera where you can lock manual settings like exposure, white balance, focus and shutter speed.

@TheDarkMoonRise depends how technical you want to be. Its true I could have got more gameplay in if it was 20 minutes gameplay (not counting char create/intro sequence). This is just first 20 minutes of game being turned on, so to speak.

Quests have time limits / live limits before failing and being kicked out of the quest.

Plus the 3DS sold approximately 1.24 million in the first week when PS Vita only sold 1.1 million. Capcom probably thought that they would gain more money in the 3DS than the Vita.
