That’s why I rarely use upload my profile or status on social media and definitely won’t add anyone I don’t know or unfamiliar.
And seriously, I think it is a common sense that you must ask for that person’s permission before you telling somebody else about their info, including their contact method and places that can frequently spot them (yes company location is not excluded). These are called personal privacy. Your friends or colleagues let you know because they trust you. It doesn’t mean that they allow you to spread their info to others.
