A ten Frame is an online mathematical manipulative that helps students develop basic number sense through the composition and decomposition of numbers within 5, 10, 20 and beyond. Ten Frame helps our elementary learners to understand counting, addition and subtraction. Since our whole number system is a base-10 system, our elementary learners are encouraged to use a ten frame to represent larger numbers using place value counters.
