Caught On Doorbell Camera - Close Encounter With A Moose In Alaska

This moose decided to come up on a deck and check out the door. What would you do if you happened to open the door at this very moment?!

Such a large and beautiful animal. Listen as the moose sniffs and licks the door and then starts to back away.

Rescued a yearling one of these guys last November, they are cute when they are small and gangly, but don't mess with momma, she will stomp you to death.

Remarkably cute when he starts backing up like that daintily

This is a yearling. The adults stand 7" at the shoulder. The shoulder is a little above the top of the door. The neck/head/antlers go up from there.
