I'm so tired of seeing so many people justify EA/respawns management of the game. I get that it's free and I don't have to pay for the skins, but that's not the point. I downloaded and have played since the first livestream and audio has been an issue THIS WHOLE TIME, servers, even after Apex' succes, have been an issue THIS WHOLE TIME. The cheater situation has been getting worse and worse, and what do they do? They mute critisism and up prices. Pretty much the biggest middle finger they could give us in the midst of increasingly ridiculously priced events and skin bundles. People are pissed because of the glaring neglect and the greed of the developers and publishers of a game that they love

Everything just feels less structured nowdays, before we could expect a legend every season, weapon almost every season, map every year a collection event which added a new heirloom and a thematic event per season which both added tons of content to the game keeping it fresh

I quit apex for a year now and I’ve been super happy. haven’t felt self worth in so long after beating myself up for never being able to hit top ranks. I’ve hit diamond 3 times and kinda just was meh once I realized I was going against cheaters since early seasons. But yea if they did some kind of anti cheating system and better rank games, I’d come back in a heartbeat. 😢

With the battle pass changes this gives the opportunity for players that only play to complete the battle pass to try out other games.

I think the battlepass "improvements" killed the game for me. Its sad because i liked this game but as a potato who doesnt play ranked, grinding the battlepass is a reason to play. I'm not going to let myself be lured into doing challenges for a battlepass this first 2 weeks so EA can fool their shareholders that this rework was a good idea because player counts are still up.
I have been playing since preseason and maxed out all the battlepasses that are there now. If these reworks dont get reverted i guess i unlocked an apex size free extra disc space on my ssd because theres no use in keeping this game if i dont update it anyway.

My biggest problem with the game is match making. I suck at the game. It’s just fun to play a few games. Until i get match with masters, diamond players. I have no shot!

After the new APEX update my pc keeps crashing that $45 bucks would be a serious clutch to buy a new Graphics card

I'll take the free one. As will many others. Come split #2, I think we will see death of the game. Like most, if I cannot earn the ability to continue battle passes through grinding, there will be no incentive to play. The only way I would consider it is if heirloom shards instead of exotic shards were the reward.
