There are a few hints I’ve given to patrons, so you guys have fun with that head start. I’m already working on future installments, which I will add to a larger supercut once I make more headway, or when I finish the story.

Most fucked up part is that Swamp Fever is an actual disease in the canon lore which slowly turns the horses into trees, hence why you can see trees in that one scene and also why some of them have branches coming out their mouths.

MLP lore can be messed up, but this is next level. How the poor ponies are in pain and aware, but they can't do anything to stop this.

The morse code beginning at 9:37 spells "THINKING OF YOU"

Edit: the morse code beginning at 13:15 spells "IM STILL HERE. I CAN HEAR YOU EVEN WHEN I KNOW YOURE GONE. MY EYES ARE WORKING AT HALF. MY EARS ARE WORKING AT NONE."

Edit again: the morse code around 11:58 has so much reverb and distortion that I can't make anything out past the initial "i." Do let me know if you have more success picking out the dots & dashes.

i've always liked this idea of taking pre-existing things in the universe the story takes place within (in this case, my little pony's swamp fever) and reimagining them into a more horrifying, not-limited-by-ratings form. simply taking them to new heights and the natural limit

It reminds me of chronic wasting disease; fairly common within deer. Basically makes them real-life zombies, suffering until they eventually give in and die. This is a lot like that actually and I'm terrified. 💀

I’m assuming that’s supposed to be Pinkie Pie, who’s a naturally vocal character. She loves to talk and laugh.
This infected horse isn’t laughing, it’s crying. It’s in pain. The sound is not the laughter from a party pony but rather the terrified cries of a prey animal backed into a corner.

[CONTEXT]: The disease Divine Swamp Fever is derived from Swamp Fever, which can be caught by inhaling the pollen from an orange treeflower that currently doesn't have a name, and is usually located near Hayseed Swamp and Everfree Forest.

The disease can be spread through airborne moisture, such as sneezes and coughs. It causes orange, flaky spots to appear over an infected's skin, and gradually progresses until the infected becomes the tree that spread the pollen in the first place.

imagine youre a lumberjack pony from a small village, doesnt know of the infection, just wandering around looking to chop trees. sees the trees wiggling and shaped like ponies, the everfree forest is creepy, you must just be paranoid and your eyes are playing tricks on you. lumberjack pony chops a tree hearing what almost sounds like a pony scream, even more scared now. then a half tree half pony thing comes after you from behind a tree ;-;
