I'm a Potterhead and I love Harry Potter so much, but this is just stupid. Stop comparing
absolutely everything to HP or other tv shows. J.K. Rowling doesn't own the idea of writing about
students going to wizard school and stuff. This is completely different and it's also for ADULTS. I
have never read The Magicians trilogy, but I will because I have heard great things about it.

I saw the first season its pretty good. kept me hooked. its basically a really rapey fucked up version of hogwarts with a door to a fucked up version of narnia... theres orgies and battle magic and a dude gets his eyeballs ripped out within the first few episodes.
